Hey guys!

Denim is a piece of clothing that is so versatile and literally never goes out of style. You can wear it all year round by styling it in different ways. When I think of summer clothing I think of loose fitted pieces such as the boyfriend jeans.

Boyfriend jeans are basically the opposite of skinny jeans. It’s extremely comfortable and if paired right, makes your outfit look chic. Styling boyfriend jeans can be a bit tricky. So, for that reason I created this post to make things easier.

I bought this pair of jeans from H&M a while ago and here’s how I’ve been styling it.

Bodysuit

This is the easiest way to style your boyfriend jeans, not to forget my personal favourite. They make everything so put together while being effortless. You can wear almost any kind of bodysuit with these jeans and they’ll look just as good. Since bodysuits are tight fitting and BF jeans are not, they complement each other so well.

This time I paired it up with this basic, straight neckline bodysuit which I’ve been loving a lot lately. It’s super comfortable and the spaghetti straps make it summer friendly.

Crop top

Another way to style boyfriend jeans is by wearing crop tops. The body, hugging ones make it more flattering. You can dress up the outfit by pairing a stylish, more elegant crop top and a pair of heels which can be easily worn for a date night.

Here I chose to wear this peachy, nude coloured, ribbed tube top. Tube tops are ideal for summers. You can even wear a cami top for more of a minimal look.

Top: Forever 21

Basic Tee

This is the easiest and a comfy way to style your boyfriend jeans. For more of an everyday, casual style which you can wear while running errands, hanging out with friends or at school/college too pairing it this way is the best option.

You can either loosely tuck in your tee or just tie a knot in the front to make it sleeker. Personally, I like tying a knot in the front as it cinches your waist, showing your curves and making the outfit more flattering. Tees with a round neckline are better choice if you decide tying a knot up front.

Top: Levi’s

For shoes you can wear any footwear of your liking. You can dress up or down by wearing heels or shoes respectively as both look great. You can even pair up some heeled boots to give an edge to your look. If you want your legs to look longer, heels are the best option as opposed to any flats or shoes.

Hello lovely people!
This is another foundation review. This time it is the Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Crème. I’ve heard many good things about this foundation and wanted to try it for myself. I’m so glad that Sephora India sells Becca Cosmetics. I’m a huge fan of this brand and the way they present their products. Anyways, onto the review.

The foundation comes in this cute bottle which is basically its not a glass bottle, which means easy travelling. Although, recently they changed their packaging to a see trough glass bottle. It comes with a pump, this is the biggest requirement for a foundation bottle, or at least for me. It just makes everything less messy.

I bought it in the shade Olive, which looked well when I tried it on at the store however it is slightly lighter than my skin tone but bronzing my face would just solve that problem. So if you’re NC42 in MAC you can just go a shade or two darker.

So the company says that this is a full coverage, water resistant foundation which will last 24 hours. It is a water based foundation with a natural finish. The last two words really caught my eyes and made me buy the foundation. Sometimes my skin is dry like the Sahara desert and sometimes it’s so oily that it gets mistaken it for the Middle East. So a dewy or a matte foundation wouldn’t be ideal for such days, and for that reason a natural finish foundation seems to be the perfect fit.

Here's how the foundation looks without applying any other makeup.
I did a small wear test because I was just too excited to try this foundation out. I found out that this is more of a medium to full coverage foundation as it did not completely cover all of my dark spots from acne. I had to build up the foundation in those areas to cover it up. But oh my god this foundation feels like you’re not wearing any makeup. It’s so lightweight that even if you put an extra layer it won’t settle in your crease. So you can even use this as an everyday foundation. It’s just so lightweight, I love such foundations as you can wear them with any kind of look.

Here's full beat face.
This foundation definitely smells like MAC foundations which I think is a common scent for many other foundations too. I had applied it using my real techniques complexion sponge and it works well with it.

The lighting did save my ass and helped me get away with the lighter shade that I chose. Also excuse my selfie taking skills, i suck at it.
I really did like this foundation except for the part where it’s not my exact shade. In India you can buy it from any Sephora store or from their online store too. Also did I mention that Becca cosmetics is a cruelty free brand? Well now you know it.

I hope this review was helpful. Stay tuned for more such reviews. Thank you!

Hey there lovely people!

I’m back again with another blog post. I love make up and trying on different looks but I believe that a good skin care routine is the first step to your makeup application. I love to pamper my skin and what is a better way than applying some face masks while going through a whole season of Sex and the City and winding up the day.
Anyways here are my 3 favourite face masks that I use at least once a week.

The body shop Tea tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask

I’ve loved this since the day one. I’m a huge fan of the whole tea tree range by The Body Shop and it only made sense for me to try this one out. Many people had been raving about this and claimed that it really works for acne prone skin and I thought I’ll give it a try.

You’re supposed to apply it for 5-10 minutes as instructed, and rinse it off with water or just wipe it off with some wet cloth.

Let me just say this you’ll feel some cooling sensation the first few seconds of applying it and later on it’ll burn a little, but that’s just how it works. This just happens the very first time you apply it.

After rinsing it off, I didn’t notice any big difference with my acne however I had a few very stubborn white heads and badly clogged pores on my chin which just disappeared completely. Believe me I’ve tried so many things to get rid of them but nothing ever worked. I did not see this coming but I was insanely impressed. Now regarding acne, they don’t obviously magically disappear after using this mask but they do dry up which is great as the going away and healing process of the acne will be much quicker. This mask does dry up your skin after rinsing so you might just want to apply a good moisturizer right after.

KAMA Ayurveda Nimrah Anti Acne Face Pack

I really enjoy using ayurvedic products as they’re 100% organic and won’t show any side effects. This mask comes in a powder consistency and you can add water or even rose water if you want to feel more boujee and pack it all over your face for 15-20 mins followed by rinsing it with water.

This mask really helps clean my skin, it does dry up some of my acne but nothing noticeable. I use this mask when my face needs something extra to make it feel clean and a little alive. You can use it when you’re tired of using a face wash to clear off the dirt from your face which you built up over the day and just want to amp up your night routine a notch.

Innisfree & The Face Shop Sheet Masks

These are some of the first ever sheet masks I had ever tried. For me personally the only function that sheet masks carry are of hydration. I don’t really notice any other difference after using them. Don’t get me wrong, hydration is a really important step in your skin care and that is why I included this in the list. I love the boost of hydration these masks give and they make your skin so soft and hydrated, also they just feel so relaxing I can wear them anytime, but mostly after I’ve used the two masks mentioned above. The best thing is that these are really cheap, you can buy them for 100-150 bucks on Nykaa.

Hey guys!
Summer is here that means leg shaving season is here. In this hot, sweaty weather I’m sure I’ll find myself wearing the following two outfits the most. For this post I teamed up with my cousin to show you guys these summer outfits.

Outfit 1

This is more of a casual day outfit. Pairing an embroidered tee with shorts is so effortless and just tucking the tee in gives off some retro vibes which I’ve been digging lately. Summer is all about colour and the colourful embroidered flower and this tee does exactly that. There are people who despise colour so this is the perfect kind of look for ya’ll. In summer, you should avoid wearing black as it absorbs heat and pairing that with the Mumbai heat is just a big no, no.

The shorts are simple dark blue shorts with distressed hem, which I’ve been enjoying lately in any denim piece. To amp up this outfit you can even wear a cute hip belt and some funky looking sunglasses which are really in lately.

The plain white canvas shoes completes this casual outfit. They just make the whole outfit more sleek and clean. I'm a huge fan of minimalist outfits and this is positively one of them.

Outfit 2

This is an outfit for days when you want to dress up a little. Denim skirts are back and I don’t want to not wear them. These just remind me of the times when I was younger and my mom used to make me wear these. Although I didn’t like wearing them back then I’m really feeling them now.

I love that this skirt has some embroidered details to it near the pockets. Again, adding some colour to the outfit. This pattern also has been common among these two outfits. So if you like embroidery details but are too skeptical about where to start from, you can take some inspiration from these outfits.

For summer I tend to stick towards wearing whites. For this outfit I decided to pair the skirt with this cami, straight neckline bodysuit. I enjoy wearing such basic bodysuits as you can pair them with literally anything and they’ll still make your outfit look like you’ve put in a lot of effort into it.

To finish off the look, I of course am wearing my classic white converse. I cannot get over them and they go with everything which I love about it. It saves my time as I don’t have to spend another hour deciding on what shoes to wear. Also they’re so comfortable that I prefer wearing these over anything else. However you can even throw on a pair of strappy sandals or just some nude block heels.
